Mixed Media Collage – Original Collage Papers & Elements

Create beautiful collage papers using acrylic paint, alcohol inks, stencils, stamps and markers. Use of Gelli printing plate and various pattern making tools. Create small texture elements with plaster and hot-melt glue.

Dates/Times: Tuesday – May 11, 2021 – from 10 AM to Noon

• Age and/or skill level: Adults (ages 16+), beginner level
• Location: AAO – Fort Ontario Complex (north end of E 4th St), Oswego

• Cost: Instructional fee: $21 for AAO members or $27 for non-members. Basic tools and materials are included in the price.

• Instructor: Beth Sotherden – artist and workshop instructor. Studied painting at Syracuse University. Teaching workshops at Salmon River Fine Art Center and have taught at Oswego Arts Center and Brewerton Center for the Arts. Exhibiting at Salmon River Fine Art Center and Riverside Artisans, as well as numerous group shows and several solo shows.

Pre-registration & pre-payment are required. We cannot hold a class at these costs unless we have a minimum of 4 students. Please register using the form below. You will have the option to pay immediately directly from the registration form using PayPal, or pay later using a check or money order. If the class is cancelled by the AAO, or if you cancel at least 7 days prior to the first class, your entire payment will be returned. Payments are otherwise non-refundable.

Checks or Money Orders should arrive at least 7 days before the start of class. If there are fewer than 7 days before class starts and you want to pay by check, you need to contact us first. Checks should be made out to “AAO” and mailed to us at: PO Box 271, Oswego NY 13126. Please note the class name & participant name on the memo line of your check.
