Handbuilding & Wheel Ceramics Class

This class will cover both handbuilding and wheel techniques for students who want to further develop their creativity and understanding of ceramics. The instructors will discuss clay properties, tool/brush usage and care, surface decoration techniques and glazing.

The first segment is potter’s wheel instruction, and the second segment will focus on handbuilding techniques including coil, pinch, and a hard slab box form. The last class will allow students to glaze projects.

Tools, clay and glazing fees and one free open studio each week are included in the cost of the class.
