Art Class for Youth

Learn the basics of drawing & painting animals! Start with the shapes that make up the animals and learn shading and painting styles to create one of a kind artwork of your favorite creatures! This class is geared towards children between 8-12 years of age.

  • This class meets Tuesdays – July 16th, 23rd, 30th, and August 6 From Noon-1PM.
  • Cost: There will be a $25 fee for this class plus a $5 fee for materials. Materials are provided by the instructor.
  • Instructor Details: This class is taught by Kelly Jackson. Kelly graduated from Suny Oswego with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. She is also continuing her education with a master’s in teaching Art.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
