The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of a new art exhibition on Saturday, September 29, at the Oswego Civic Arts Center. The exhibition, called Aaron Z. Lee and Friends, will feature artwork by artist, illustrator, and graphic designer Aaron Lee and several of his fellow artists.
The show will open with a reception on Saturday, September 29 from 7 to 9 pm. As always, the event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Aaron Z. Lee is an artist born and raised in central New York with a background in graphic design and art education. He is a multi-disciplined artist working traditionally and digitally. He’s worked for clients like SUNY Oswego, the Oswego County Children’s Fund, ZINK Screen Printing, The Comic Shop and the band Ethernauts doing illustration, graphic design, and package design. He is currently self-publishing his comic book series entitled; “Prizza’s Pizza: Son of a Prizzaman.” Other artists that are invited include Erik J. Miller, Miles George, and Sally Peck.
The Arts Center is located at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in Oswego. Regular gallery hours are from 10 am – 1 pm on Saturdays and from 1 pm – 4 pm on Sundays. The gallery is also open by appointment. The exhibition will continue until Sunday, October 21.
