The Art Association of Oswego is now accepting entries for the 17th Annual Lakeside Statewide Juried Art Exhibition. Entry in this exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and older, living or working in New York State over the last 2 years. Acceptable media include: drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, photography, ceramics, digital media and all fine craft. The purpose of the exhibition is to offer a diverse cross-section of artwork currently being produced in New York State.
The juror for this year’s exhibition will be Ms. Gina Zanolli. Ms. Zanolli is a Rochester-based artist who specializes in drawing and painting. She regularly teaches classes in art through the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester and figure drawing through Monroe Community College. Ms. Zanolli earned her MFA and BFA at the University of Buffalo.
The postmark deadline for entries is Monday, February 17. The exhibition will run from Saturday March 22 through Sunday April 27. Over $1000 in prizes will be awarded. This exhibition is made possible in part by a generous grant from Constellation Energy.
