How to Resize Artwork Files
For Submission
Entry into the 28th Annual Lakeside Statewide Juried Art Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and older, living or working in New York State over the last 2 years. Acceptable media include: drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, photography, digital media, ceramics, and all fine craft. Work previously exhibited at the Oswego Civic Arts Center is not eligible. Work completed prior to 2022 is not eligible. Entries should be appropriate for all ages. All accepted works must arrive suitably framed and ready to hang or otherwise appropriately prepared for immediate installation. Unframed works or works improperly prepared may be rejected. Works may not exceed 72″ in any direction. Sculpture may not exceed 100 lbs.

Saturday, March 9 | Hand-delivery of accepted works at the AAO from 10 AM to Noon |
Saturday, March 29 | Exhibition opens with a reception from 7 to 9 pm (with awards at 8 pm) |
Sunday, April 27 | Exhibition closes at 4 PM |
Sunday, April 27 | Pick up work at the AAO from 4 to 6 PM* |
Monday, April 28 | Pick up work at the AAO from 6 to 8 PM* |
Monday, April 28 | Return of shipped artwork begins |
*Any work not picked up within 30 days will become the property of the Art Association of Oswego. |
Gallery
The Art Association of Oswego (AAO) galleries are housed in the Oswego Civic Arts Center, which is located at 20 Barbara Donahue Drive at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in the City of Oswego, directly across from historic Fort Ontario. Weekend gallery hours are on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm and on Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm. The galleries are also open during art classes, theater performances, and by appointment.
