Students learn basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel with Rebecca Chatterton. Students will learn about the preparation of clay, throwing basic forms, trimming the base, the drying process, and glazing the finished pot.
This 6-week classes meets on Sunday afternoons, 1-3:00 PM, April 28 – June 2, 2019.

- About the Instructor: Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (ceramics focus) from SUNY Fredonia, and has taught numerous classes to adults and children at the AAO.
- Registration: Participants must register online using the form below. Class fees may be paid through the registration form using PayPal, or mail a check or money order to: AAO – PO Box 271 – Oswego, NY 13126. Payments mailed to our PO Box must be received at least 7 days before the class starts.
If the class is cancelled by the AAO, or if you cancel at least 7 days prior to the first class, your entire payment will be returned. Payments are otherwise non-refundable.
This class is part of our ART for YOUth program, which is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
