Illumination Ceramics

Long-time ceramicist Linda Knowles will hold a ceramics class focused on making lighting displays. Students will create a variety of vessels for lighting, such as lanterns, hurricanes, votives, and candlestick holders, using hand-building techniques incorporating 3D sculpture, molding, and piercing, with special attention to surface colors and textures.

• Age and/or skill level: Adults (ages 16+); beginner to advanced
• Class size limit: 8
• Date(s): Wednesdays, Oct 3 thru Nov 14 (skipping Halloween week).
• Time(s): 6 PM – 9 PM.
• Location: Art Association of Oswego – located in the red building at the north end of East Fourth Street just before entering Fort Ontario.
• Cost: Instructional fee = $133 for AAO Members and $190 for non-members, plus a materials fee of $35. All tools and materials will be provided.
