Stain Painting and Collage with Suzanne Gaffney Beason

This class will provide instruction on both stain painting and collage. We’ll create colorful, velvet-like textures on raw canvas. Pour, drip, draw on unprimed canvas to achieve finished pieces while relaxing in a friendly, creative atmosphere.

• Age and/or skill level: Adults (ages 16+)
• Class size limit: 10
• When: Tuesdays, May 8-22, 6-9 PM
• Where: AAO – Oswego Civic Arts Center, Fort Ontario Complex (north end of E 4th St), Oswego. (Google Maps Address: 20 Barbara Donahue Dr)

• Instructor: Suzanne Gaffney Beason. Suzanne is a studio artist and has an MA and BFA in Printmaking from SUNY Oswego. Suzanne has been an Artist in Residence at the AAO, Adjunct Painting Professor at CCC, and actively exhibits on the Northeast coast.
