Clay Garden Art

A 6 week hand-building course

This class is for those who already know the basics of hand-building with clay. Students will complete 2-3 projects depending on size and complexity.

The possibilities for creativity are endless … you could create a hanging planter, mask, wind chimes, totem animal, small bird house or toad house are just

Emphasis will be placed on:

• planning projects
• creating armatures
• transforming meaning to form
• incorporating natural and found objects into work

Cone 6 stoneware clay will be provided.

Wednesday evenings, 6 to 9 pm starting Aug 30

Tuition for AAO members-$147.00 + $25 materials fee = $172
Tuition for Non-members -$210.00 + $25 materials fee = $235
Materials fee includes clay, firing, and glazes.
