MEETING: Fiber Arts Studio Group

This is an open time for fiber arts of all types to work on projects in a shared space.  In addition to sharing styles, techniques and ideas, the group may participate in knit-alongs, charity projects, knit/hook-ins and yarn bombings.  Open for knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, spinning, tapestry and other fiber-centric work.

Fiber artists of all ages and experience levels are welcome & encouraged to attend as long as they are working on a project.

• Date:  Wednesdays in August & September- potentially longer if possible & people are interested
• Time:  6:30 – 8:30 PM
• Location:  Art Association of Oswego – located in the red building at the northern end of E 4^th St just before going onto Fort Ontario property.
• Cost:  Free – Donations to the Art Association of Oswego are appreciated.  Optional participation in public events to raise awareness and funds for the Art Association.
• Facilitator: Patti O’Brien-Beaumont.  Patti is a lace knitter, spinner and budding mixed-media fiber artist who will act as host & contact person for the meetings.  This Open Studio isn’t for formal instruction.  It is a dedicated time to help you work on your projects; share work, ideas and techniques; and provide support for fellow fiber artists.
